• The beautiful thing about this image is that the woman is literally integrated with the tree. She isn’t simply standing beside strength — she is growing from it.
• The roots beneath her represent what has sustained her, the trunk represents who she is becoming, and the branches represent the life she is still growing into.
• Each root becomes a layer of meaning that is incorporated into the painting.

Life is built in layers — experiences, challenges, relationships, lessons, hopes, and moments that change us. In Rooted in Strength, you’ll slow down and explore those layers through art, and create a meaningful visual reminder of the strength you’ve discovered along the way.

Using ink, paper, words, acrylic paint, and symbolic imagery, you’ll build a one-of-a-kind mixed-media painting that tells your story without needing to find all the right words. Through guided reflection, you’ll uncover the experiences and qualities that have helped you become rooted, resilient, and ready for what’s next.
